Jesmonite is not waterproof but we do coat the inside of the pots with a splashproof sealant.

CARE ADVICE
Allowing water to sit on a handmade jesmonite coaster can cause damage to the coaster over time. Jesmonite is a porous material, which means it can absorb water (although we have tried to reduce this by using a sealer), causing it to swell and potentially crack. To protect your coaster, be sure to remove any excess water. This will help keep your coaster in good condition and extend its lifespan.
